Tank Inspection & Repair

Tanks in all sizes and shapes are our specialty.  W.M. Sprinkman has the capability to design and fabricate pressure vessels in accordance with ASME Section VIII Division 1 for both “U” and “UM” stamped vessels. We not only build them, but our Field Service
 crews inspect and service tanks all across 
the U.S. In addition to conducting preventative, 
on-site inspections, our team will make 
custom modifications, repairs and equipment 
installations, including:

Tank Inspections:

  • Exterior and interior shell
  • Outlets and nozzels
  • Ladders, legs and bracing
  • Manways
  • Sprayballs
  • Motor mounts
  • Overall cleanliness


Repairs & Replacements

  • We are accredited to perform “R” stamp repairs in accordance with NBIC
  • Leaking jackets
  • Hydrostatic blow-out of vacuum-damaged vessels
  • Vacuum-damaged silo tops (top job)
  • Fittings, manways and sprayballs
  • Agitators
  • Minor cracks and fractures
  • Minor tubing
  • Replacement equipment if needed



  • ASME pressure tanks and vessels
  • Add or modify vertical or horizontal agitation
  • Add heat transfer surface to existing tanks
  • Add or remove ferrules
