Spent Grain Vessels
Brewer's spent grain consists of the residue of malt and grain which remains in the mash-kettle after the mashing and lautering process. It consists primarily of grain husks and can be difficult to move and store due to a high moisture level. High in carbohydrates and proteins, brewers have found many outlets for this byproduct, including the production of animal feed, fertilizer, whole grains in bread, as well as in the production of biogas.
Noteworthy
- Sprinkman can design and manufacture spent grain vessels that reside inside or outside the facility and also provide engineering designs to move and convey the wet spent grain.
